David C. Keim, DDS
Dr. Keim received his B.S. in Biology from Drake University, where he was a three-year letterman for the Drake Bulldogs Football Squad. He completed his Doctorate in Dentistry at the University of Missouri, Kansas City School of Dentistry. Dr. Keim’s ethic of quality dental care for all was bolstered in dental school, where he was a member of the honors Oral Surgery program. During dental school, he devoted time and skills to the underserved—he worked as a student extern for the Jackson County Jail, worked at the Kansas State Blind School, and volunteered to treat underserved children in Venezuela and Guatemala. In recognition of his dedication to dentistry and community service, Dr. Keim received the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Award from the University of Missouri – Kansas City Dental College.
Dr. Keim then served as a Lieutenant Commander in the United States Public Health Service and was stationed at Blackfeet Community Hospital in Browning, Montana. In 2006, he began his private dental practice in Kalispell, Montana.
Dr. Keim continues his devotion to community and service in the Flathead Valley. He was previously president of the Montana Dental Association and currently serves as a board member; is the Dental Director for Shepherd’s Hand free dental clinic; is a board member for Daybreak Rotary; is a member of the Flathead County Community Health Clinic Board, and was previously president of the First District Dental Society in the Flathead Valley. In addition, he serves on the advisory board for both Salish Kootenai and the University of Great Falls Hygiene schools. He continues to serve his community as a Project School Sealants program volunteer. He also provides care for the Flathead County Jail Patients, as well as special needs and nursing home patients.
Dr. Keim was inducted into the American College of Dentists and the International College of Dentists after being nominated by his peers and passing an independent review process. In his free time, Dr. Keim is a Climb Coordinator for the Glacier Mountaineering Society and enjoys everything Montana has to offer in the outdoors, especially when spent with his family and friends.
Dr. Keim resides in Flathead County with his wife Ronna, their four sons, and their black lab, Brooke.
